The innocent girl finds a lost Race

Her words for some reason seem to help him relax. "Thanks Hikari I hope we can stay good friends for a long time to come your the first person I've felt comfortable around"

Zeipher put his arm up around Hikari and smiled at her. "Want to just relax here for a bit? I'll stay here with you if you'd like."

Hikari blushed when Zeipher put his arm around her. "O-Okay." She said.

Zeipher sat there with her for a long time. The sun started to go down and it was starting to get dark. "Hey it's getting dark want me to escort you back to the guild? I'll take you there if you'd like we can meet here everyday and next-time we can do more then just sit around if you'd like"

Hikari had fallen asleep on Zeiphers shoulder.

Zeipher glanced down and realized she was asleep. He left her there and leaned against the tree letting Hikari lean back against him while she slept. After a time he himself fell asleep.


[Back near Hikari's room]

Dailmora hadn't heard from Hikari since he and Neildren had gotten on her about leaving campus without permission. He went up to her room to see if he could talk to her he felt they had been a bit harsh on her. He approached her door and knocked. "Hikari? Hikari are you in there?" With no reply he genlty pushed the door open to see that she wasn't even in here room. He took off down the hall he had an idea of where she was and he felt he'd also get to see this man she seemed rather fond of.

Hikari was still fast asleep she snuggled into Zeipher smiling in her sleep.

[Near Zeipher and Hikari]

Dailmora was searching the forest edge looking for any sign that Hikari had been here. He suddenly got more of a sign then he expected when he saw that the two of them were asleep under a tree. It wasn't just any tree though it was a tree that had long been known as the Tree of Fate. He sat out in front of them but not to close so as to not wake them but close enough and in view that once they woke they would notice him.

Hikari soon woke up and blushed seeing she fell asleep on Zeipher. "Ah!i fell asleep on him...he must think i'm so stupid...." She soon noticed Dailmora. "D-Dailmora Senpai!"

Dailmora smiled at her. "Morning child nice to see you found a friend. To top it off he'll never abandon you either. Anyway the man your next to happens to be the boy you heard stories about when you were in school. He's the boy that vanished and everyone assumed to be dead. You alone found the last remaining one of his race. You'll be friends for a very long time I'm sure but enough of that I came to make sure things were ok and to meet your friend here but you seem busy so if you'd like I'll go."

Hikari tapped Zeipher to wake him up. "Zeipher i want you to meet my superior Dailmora." Hikari smiled.

Zeipher woke up and looked around for a moment Hikari still held onto his arm he looked ahead and saw a man he had never expected to see again. "Dailmora! Is that you? Intructor Dailmora?" Dailmora started to laugh. "I can't believe you remember me after all this time you didn't forget."

Hikari was confused."You two know each other?"

Dailmora looked at Hikari. "Yea when this man was younger his parents were part of the guild I personally was the one that started his training me and Neildren. When he vanished everyone looked for him but we couldn't find him. We've spent all this time looking for a person that could be about as good as he was and we found it in a person we least expected it to be." Zeipher knew who Dailmora spoke of he had seen her kick the creature yesterday and the impact from he kick had staggered the creature.

Hikari blinked and tilted her head slightly confused. "H-Huh?who dailmora senpai?"

Zeipher looked at Hikari. "He's talking about you he wouldn't have said so otherwise. You have far more power and potential then you realize."

Suprised hikari pointed to herself. M-Me!?

"Yup if Dailmora says so then we know it's true cuz he wouldn't make something like this up." Dailmora stood and started to walk away. "You two kids have fun you'll be fine so long as you stick together."

Hikari was still a little confused about what Dailmora said but she paid no mind to it she smiled and turned to Zeipher. "Hehe so what now?" She smiled and giggled a little.

Zeipher smile at Hikari. "You pick I'm not used to being around anyone still so I'll do anything you'd like." Without realizing it he leaned forward and kissed Hikari on the forehead.

Hikari's heart raced when he kissed her head she turned a bright red blushing and got so nervous she could barely talk.

Zeipher stood and helped Hikari to her feet. "Wanna go see a place where my kind isn't shunned?"

Still blushing all Hikari could do was nod she took his hand and got up.

Zeipher wrapped his arms around her and took a quick flight into the air. He held her tightly and in a manner that he hoped showed that he would protect her. Within moments he landed a few miles away from where they had been. It was near another small town that was a trade town for much of the region.
